NPVMC provides the most up to date medical campus in Southeastern Wyoming. In addition to a 24-hour emergency room, NPVMC will offer advanced imaging including ultrasound, X-Ray, digital mammography, CT, Dexa Scan, and mobile MRI capabilities. The CAH features an inpatient pharmacy, laboratory services, and physical/occupational therapy. Staffed with both full time physician and mid-level providers, the hospital will provide a healthcare solution that services the community and offers convenience to medical services.

The Clinic Manager is responsible for the supervision and coordination of the day-to-day operations of Platte Valley Clinic and other outpatient departments. This includes staff supervision, final approval and managing of staff schedules, managing supply & equipment needs, ensuring proper documentation, and facilitating efficient and quality patient care. The Clinic Manager works with clinic providers and other outside providers to maintain and improve support services. They are responsible for the proper functioning of the clinic through administrative and technical direction. The Clinic Manager performs staff appraisals, performance corrections, and approving staff time off. This position enforces policies, procedures, and standards of operation. The Clinic Manager may be required to perform other duties as assigned.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversees and manages and directs successful daily clinic operations to achieve quality improvement, fiscal productivity, payroll, employee evaluations, staffing, and patient satisfaction goals/objectives.
  • Responsible for the proper functioning of the clinic as established by the Executive Leadership Team.
  • Ensures that the clinic operates according to federal and state guidelines and contributes to NPVMC's mission and goals of client satisfaction, quality of care, and productivity.
  • Collaborates with the Executive Leadership Team to ensure consistency in the delivery of care and operations of the clinic.
  • Assists hospital COO in identifying operational priorities.
  • Participates in recruitment, interviews, selection, corrective action and evaluation process for directly supervised staff and other key positions.
  • Collaborates with NPVMC supervisors to train and develop staff, enforce policies, procedures, and standards of operation.
  • Completes appraisals and performance corrections and approves schedules and time off.
  • Initiates and leads regular staff meetings.
  • Keeps Operations Director informed of any unusual concerns, situations, events, or conditions relative to staff, patients, families, or physicians.
  • Ensures all staff members are performing their jobs effectively and patients are receiving quality care.
  • Acts as a liaison with patients and their representatives and works with the Executive Leadership Team to resolve complaints.
  • Demonstrates a leadership role through daily work, effective management, and teaching.
  • Initiates coaching, counseling and disciplinary action in a supportive manner in accordance with the hospital policy.
  • Maintains employee, patient, and hospital/clinic confidentiality at all times according to acceptable professional standards.
  • Promotes teamwork with physicians, staff, leadership, and all health care providers.

Shift

Full Time Monday through Friday (Clinic Hours 8-5)

Required Qualifications

  • Education:  Successful completion of an accredited educational program. Bachelor’s degree in management or healthcare related field preferred.
  • Work Experience Previous clinical management experience required. Rural Health Clinic management experience preferred. Clinical experience is preferred.  
  • Driving Record:  N/A.
  • Certifications/License: Current State of Wyoming Professional license preferred, current BCLS Certification.
